ASV: What then? that which Israel seeketh for, that he obtained not; but the election obtained it, and the rest were hardened:

DBY: What is it then? What Israel seeks for, that he has not obtained; but the election has obtained, and the rest have been blinded,

WEY: How then does the matter stand? It stands thus. That which Israel are in earnest pursuit of, they have not obtained; but God's chosen servants have obtained it, and the rest have become hardened.
